  • Under 11: Born on or after 1st January 2015
  • Under 9: Born on or after 1st January 2017
  • Under 7: Born on or after 1st January 2019

Players are required to play within their respective age bracket.

  • 4th – 10th Place: Consolation Medals + e-Certificate
  • Others: e-Certificate of Participation

Note: All Age Group Winners will have the opportunity to represent Malaysia as its official Player at the upcoming Commonwealth School Chess Championship 2026.

Important Notifications

Financial Requirement: Players and accompanying parents/teachers/coaches/etc. shall be responsible for their own travelling and accommodation expenses.

The Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) reserves the rights to amend rules and regulations without notice. Participants agree to abide by all rules and not hold the Organizer/MCF responsible for any damages or losses.
